Our engineering design services provide program management, R&D capabilities and turnkey solutions from start to finish, from initial concept through certification to systems integration and everything in between. Our staff consists of engineers with education and experience in structures, aerodynamics, electrical & mechanical design, and overall systems architecture. They are well versed in all disciplines necessary to design and develop systems and sub-tier components that are unmatched in technology, design and quality, and they are supported by advanced facilities, including computer aided drafting capabilities, circuit board design, and environmental testing capacities. The Dallas/Fort Worth area is home to several top DOD contractors and airline industry leaders, Bell Helicopter, Lockheed Martin, L-3 Communications, General Dynamics, TRW, DynCorp, Halliburton, Motorola, EDS, American Airlines, and Southwest Airlines, all of which draw rich talent and experience into the immediate area. In addition, the FAA Rotorcraft Directorate Southwest Region Headquarters is located in Fort Worth and is home to both the Airplane and Rotorcraft Certification Offices with responsibilities for approving Type Certificates (TC), Supplemental Type Certificates (STC), Technical Standard Order Approvals (TSOA) and the engineering portion of Parts Manufacturer Approvals (PMA) for airplanes and rotorcraft in the Southwest Region. Our engineers have enjoyed long-term working relationships with many of these contractors, airline companies and both FAA offices and have a great understand of regulatory agency certification practices with vast experience in dealing with the FAA, DERS, DARS, Foreign Certification Authorities, as well as major equipment operators and original equipment manufacturers. Our staff of engineers have experience in working on over two hundred certification projects involving the FAA and Foreign Certification Authorities. We retain a number of FAA Designated Engineering Representatives (DER's) and Designated Airworthiness Representatives (DAR's) who specialize in a wide range of Aircraft modifications and testing. |
